Online Tutoring with Steve.

Steve sends a video-call link, the student joins from a laptop, desktop, tablet, or phone, and the two work together on a shared whiteboard or the student's own screen. There is nothing to install. The session structure is the same as in person: short warm-up, current homework or chapter, practice, recap.

• Math: every subject from grade school math through calculus.
• Reading and ELAR (English Language Arts and Reading) for elementary and middle school students, and also English as a Second Language (ESL) and English as a Foreign Language (EFL) for adult students.
• Python computer programming for middle school, high school, college, and adult learners. Python is especially well suited to online sessions because the tutor and student can share a real coding environment.

Yes, for most students. One-on-one is one-on-one whether the tutor is sitting across the table or on a video call. The cases where in-person is the better fit are early elementary students who need help staying focused, often by playing educational games that have phyical pieces, and students who really benefit from working physically alongside someone. For everyone else, online is a great option, especially for families outside Steve's driving range in North Texas.

Steve's home base is Burleson, TX. Online sessions are how he sometimes serves families in areas such as Mansfield, Cleburne, south Fort Worth, and beyond, and he also tutors in person at the location of the student's choice in many of those areas.
